I mentioned in a previous post that I installed address numbers on the transom above the door and was concerned about how obvious they would be to delivery people. Well, now we know that was a failure. It has been painful to watch drivers stop in front of our house and wait for minutes as they try to find the numbers. If a discussion ensues, invariably they say that they thought the address was 1895 due to the plaque under the porch showing when the house was built. Hopefully, today’s addition will solve the problem.
