That mirror was a Facebook Marketplace find. Chelsea wanted a full-length mirror for her dressing room. Surprisingly, daily searches on Facebook and Craigslist didn’t turn up anything workable for several weeks. Finally, this one was posted. The frame is right at 4 ft by 5 ft. Chelsea is 5 ft 2 in, so I felt it would be workable. As a bonus, it would give her something to make her dressing room feel fancy and elegant.
It never really did fit well in the space. It looked too squatty sitting on the floor and she didn’t want me to hang it since her goal was to be able to see her entire outfit in the reflection. Fortunately, I was able to find a legitimate full-length mirror about a month later for her to use on a daily basis. That left this huge mirror temporarily without a home or purpose.
In another post, I mentioned the concern about the newly painted dining room being too dark, especially at night or during the winter. Giant mirror to the rescue. While it won’t quite double the amount of light from the chandelier and windows, it should contribute greatly to the room being more inviting.
