Chelsea’s custom-built desk was scheduled to be ready today. I waited until 10 AM to WhatsApp the guy I spoke with since places here tend to open later in the morning. He responded a couple of minutes later saying that it was ready to be picked up. No delays, no excuses, that was a good sign!
Is it heirloom quality? No. Am I content with it? Definitely. More importantly, Chelsea is very happy with it. I am extremely pleased that we were able to get something that meets her needs, for a fair price, while supporting a small local business. Online ordering was a disaster, but this was a win.
