This one is a bit of a mystery. We occupy the second and third stories of a house. The bottom floor is currently unoccupied. Roux has double-bagged dog food. Today we discovered a large hole in both bags. It had to happen during the night because it wasn’t there at her evening feeding. She has an alibi – we keep her closed up in our room at night.
The most likely culprit is a medium-sized garrobo (basically an iguana with dark-colored bands on its body) who often visits the backyard. On one hand, I would love to catch it in the act. On the other hand, no, I wouldn’t.
