We found this framed print titled An Interesting Story at our favorite antique store in Misenheimer, North Carolina. It is a chromolithograph which gives it a hand-colored quality. From my research, it may have been printed by McLoughlin Brothers of New York around 1900.
I was immediately drawn to this because of its size, image depth, and the subject matter. I am typically drawn to paintings, photos, etc. of people reading because Chelsea is so enamored with books. If she was born during the Victorian period, I could easily imagine her as the little girl in the image.
