Chelsea has been fascinated by citrus based decorations for a while. That’s likely why she noticed, well before I did, one of our neighbors had decorated for Christmas with oranges and tree limbs. Ever since, I have been on the lookout for an orange or lemon wreath for the front door.
I am always surprised at how expensive wreaths can be. Most of the ones I found were cost prohibitive ($70 to $400!!!). I considered buying the components to make my own. The thing that stopped me was that I couldn’t find realistic looking fruit and leaves that were going to significantly reduce the price. Fortunately, I found a wreath on the Michaels.com website that was large enough and on sale for under $40.
