Granted we live in a town near Charlotte and not New Orleans, but it seems no one recognizes/celebrates Mardi Gras. Over time, my plan is to change that.
I told one of our neighbors that next year I want her husband to let me ride on the trailer that they pull behind their truck so I can throw beads to the people who live on our street. We’ll see.
